Introduction This study examines the resilience of agrifood systems amid geopolitical tensions with a primary focus on Ukraine-Russia war and its increased effects global food security, climate change, post-pandemic recovery. The explores different elements, scenarios, behaviors systems, highlighting how conflicts disrupt resource availability economic stability. Further, it existing Resource Nexus influence sustainable nutrition security tension. Much research focuses systems' in context change pandemics, repeatedly overlooking impacts related policies enacted for security. Methods Focused tension as an 76 articles were systematically reviewed to identify key elements scenarios based countries' development, discovered major vulnerability indicators, systems. Results review leads identification four system tensions: fragility reduction, robustness building, adaptive strategies, transformative over time. In general, reduction was more prevalent compared other three scenarios. There decline system's performance due existence some that instability further identifies impact is not uniform. It often influences positive or negative outcomes depending feedback nature at operational levels system. During tensions, food, energy, finance are most affected sectors, followed by interconnected resources such land, water, (LWF), (WEF).
