Abstract In modern textile-bleaching methods, H 2 O is commonly preferred due to its less harmful effects on the environment. The use of hydrogen peroxide in bleaching processes, although biodegradable own, increases waste load high amount auxiliary chemicals used. long processing times and high-temperature requirements led increased energy consumption. Moreover, high-water consumption required for post-treatment also a disadvantageous factor. other words, while load, time increase consumption, has effect. this study, raw cotton fabric subjected chemical finishing treatments that either oxidize or reduce it as part process. results photo were compared with conventional applications. Our findings showed nano-TiO -treated had better whiteness value than treated according color spectrum indexes. It strongly considered method could be new alternative way textile materials departments.
