Fabrication and development of effective visible-light-responsive photocatalysts are required to tackle critical environmental issues. The aim this study was develop a nanocomposite material with improved photocatalytic activity for the degradation industrial dyes such as Reactive Orange-16 (RO-16), Blue (RB-222), Yellow-145 (RY-145), Disperse Red-1 (DR-1) without need post-separation process after use. Here we report hydrothermal synthesis nanodots Co1-xZnxFe2O4 (x = 0.3, 0.5 0.7), coated polyaniline, by in situ polymerization. nanodots, polyaniline (PANI) nanograins, facilitated optical properties easily capturing visible light. X-ray Diffraction (XRD) patterns Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images have confirmed single-phase spinel structure nanodot nano-pore size Co1-xZnxFe2O4/PANI nanophotocatalyst. specific surface area Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) photocatalyst determined be 24.50 m2/g multipoint analysis. final 0.5) nanophotocatalyst showed high efficiency catalytic toxic (∼98% within 5 min), good mechanical stability recyclability under light irradiation. re-used its largely maintained, even seven cycles (∼82%) degradation. effects various parameters, initial dye concentration, pH solution, reaction kinetics were studied. According Pseudo-first-order kinetic model, photodegradation data followed first-order rate (R2 > 0.95) dyes. In conclusion, simple low-cost process, speedy excellent polyaniline-coated could used promising dye-wastewater treatment.
