Fluorescent dyes (especially photoconvertible cyanine dyes) are traditionally used as labels to study single-cell or cell-group interactions and migration. Nevertheless, their application has some disadvantages, such cytotoxicity dye transfer between cells during co-cultivation. The latter can lead serious distortions in research results. At the same time, lack of a worthy alternative explains reasons for hushing up this problem. Here, we propose low-cytotoxicity encapsulated forms 3.5 5.5, enabling intracellular uptake facilitating labeling tracking an efficient existing staining. Only 16.9% myoblasts (C2C12) exchanged compared with 99.7% that free form dyes. Simultaneous several dyes, combined possibility photoconversion, provides multi-color coding individual cells. Encapsulation allows reliable reduces
