The study included a survey of helminthes in the intestines stray cats several areas Wasit province, to determine extent their spread among populations regions. Samples were collected from 96 distributed same 7 species parasitic observed, and four tapeworms. highest observed was Dipylidium caninum for 44.61% infected with other two recorded nematodes as 46.51%, 22.58% Toxocara cains, Toxascaris leonina respectively, note that T. cains infection is higher than others; while, have been diagnosed different rates 35.38%, 24.61%, 12.30%, 27.90% Taenia multiceps, ovis, pisiformis, Ancylostoma sp., respectively. rate northern regions province southern Province In conclusion, can act potential reservoir hosts various parasites, potentially impacting both human animal health. extensive presence across numerous Iraqi necessitates increased focus relevant bodies, especially public health veterinary sectors, mitigate associated risks zoonotic concerns. Consequently, necessary enhance scope studies investigations concerning ailments, attributed proliferation feline reproduction within communities interaction felines.
