Background and Objective: Obtaining reliable up-to-date information on mortality causes is essential for the planning implementation of effective preventive interventions. We present here an analysis leading death in US 2022. Material Methods: conducted electronic search Centers Control Prevention (CDC) Web-based Injury Statistics Query Reporting System (WISQARS) Wide-Ranging, Online Data Epidemiologic Research (WONDER) to obtain most recent searchable year with definitive data (i.e., 2022), stratified by age sex. Results: Overall, heart disease was cause (26.2% all deaths), followed malignant neoplasms (22.7%), unintentional injuries (8.5%) coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19; 6.9%). Although remained both sexes, were third men (10.5%), while strokes women (7.5%). COVID-19 fourth common sexes (7.1% 6.8% women). The ten showed increasing tendency parallel aging population, similar trends sexes. only exception injury, which between ages 15-44 years, then reached a plateau, before again people aged 65 years or older. Conclusions: Greater efforts should be put into prevention education, as disease, cancer, even are preventable diseases.
