Achieving
green,
low-carbon,
and
sustainable
development
in
the
Yangtze
River
Basin
is
an
important
part
of
promoting
modernization
agriculture
rural
areas.
Based
on
panel
data
19
provinces
from
2002
to
2022,
this
article
constructed
a
comprehensive
evaluation
system
for
agricultural
economy–population
development–ecological
environment
system.
By
using
entropy-weighted
TOPSIS
method
coupling
coordination
degree
model,
level
status
economy,
population
development,
ecological
were
quantitatively
analyzed.
The
results
show
following:
(1)
index
shows
fluctuating
upward
trend,
with
obvious
regional
differences,
showed
trend
gradual
improvement
west
east.
(2)
exhibits
volatile
characteristic,
initially
increasing,
then
decreasing,
subsequently
increasing
again.
Overall,
moving
toward
tighter
state.
(3)
steadily
yet
overall
not
high
remains
barely
coordinated
Accordingly,
suggestions
are
put
forward
optimize
economic
structure,
improve
quality,
adhere
protection,
accelerate
linkage
so
as
promote
growth,
protection
basin.

development.

results
show
that
some
areas
Basin
decreased,
economy,
increased
most
counties,
individual
showed
inverted
“U”-type
distribution.
overall
increased,
indicating
more
coordination.
