Socio-economic development accelerates the process of urbanization, but rise in industry, economic growth and population agglomeration destroy biodiversity while promoting social progress, resulting a decline habitat quality an increase regional differences. Solving contradiction between economy ecological environment improving habitats are matters utmost importance. Based on land use socio-economic data from 2000 to 2023, this study uses InVEST model explore spatial temporal evolution characteristics Kuye River Basin, establishes comprehensive index system, entropy method coupling coordination degree measure coordinated development. The results show that some areas Basin decreased, economy, increased most counties, individual showed inverted “U”-type distribution. overall increased, indicating more coordination. This draws blueprint for provides scientific basis governance civilization construction.

Achieving green, low-carbon, and sustainable development in the Yangtze River Basin is an important part of promoting modernization agriculture rural areas. Based on panel data 19 provinces from 2002 to 2022, this article constructed a comprehensive evaluation system for agricultural economy–population development–ecological environment system. By using entropy-weighted TOPSIS method coupling coordination degree model, level status economy, population development, ecological were quantitatively analyzed. The results show following: (1) index shows fluctuating upward trend, with obvious regional differences, showed trend gradual improvement west east. (2) exhibits volatile characteristic, initially increasing, then decreasing, subsequently increasing again. Overall, moving toward tighter state. (3) steadily yet overall not high remains barely coordinated Accordingly, suggestions are put forward optimize economic structure, improve quality, adhere protection, accelerate linkage so as promote growth, protection basin.
