Regulatory T cells (Tregs) play a crucial role in inflammatory responses by regulating the activity of various immune cells. M2 macrophages induced IL-10 and TGF-β exhibit anti-inflammatory functions induce Treg differentiation. Although beneficial effects 3-bromo-4,5-dihydroxybenzaldehyde (BDB) on diseases have been widely reported, mechanisms, through which it alleviates allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) via Tregs macrophages, are not well understood. Therefore, this study aimed to explore whether BDB suppresses ACD induces generation.

Heart failure is a complex syndrome characterized by cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis, and diastolic/systolic dysfunction. These changes share many pathological features with significant inflammatory responses in the myocardium. Among various regulatory systems that impact on these heterogeneous processes, angiotensin II (Ang II)-activated macrophages play pivotal role induction of subcellular defects adverse remodeling during progression heart failure. Ang stimulates via its AT1 receptor to release oxygen-free radicals, cytokines, chemokines, other mediators myocardium, upregulates expression integrin adhesion molecules both monocytes endothelial cells, leading monocyte-endothelial cell-cell interactions. Abstract Peritoneal adhesion (PA) refers to the abnormal of peritoneum either with itself or tissues and organs that is caused by abdominopelvic surgery, abdominal infection peritoneal inflammation. PA associated various clinical complications, such as pain distension, intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal disorders female infertility, adversely affects quality life patients. Macrophages are essential for formation can undergo polarization into classically activated macrophages (M1) alternatively (M2), which influenced microenvironment. By releasing proinflammatory cytokines reactive oxygen species, M1 promote inflammatory reactions resultant adhesion. In contrast, M2 secrete anti‐inflammatory growth factors inhibit repair healing tissues, thereby play a significant role. This review comprehensively explores function mechanism their subtypes in gain insight prevention treatment based on modulation macrophages.

Due to its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and pro-healing properties, the application of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has emerged as a new promising therapeutic strategy in various fields medicine, including general medicine dentistry. In this light, aim present study was investigate effects homemade jet on cellular behaviour two important cell types involved gingivitis, namely gingival fibroblasts (HGF-1 line) macrophages (RAW 264.7 line), by direct CAP different experimental conditions. The HGF-1 cells investigated terms viability/proliferation (LIVE/DEAD CCK-8 assays), morphological features (immunofluorescent staining actin cytoskeleton) fibronectin expression (immunocytochemical network), while macrophages’ response evaluated through assessment survival/proliferation rate inflammatory activity (pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion profile (ELISA assay) foreign body giant (FBGCs) formation cytoskeleton multinuclearity index determination)). vitro biological revealed an upward trend dependent treatment time number applications, proliferation (p < 0.0001) 0.0001). On other hand, exposed five consecutive applications for longer times (over 120 s) exhibited strong pro-inflammatory activity, evinced their altered morphology, FBGCs formation. Overall, our results demonstrate that exposure, when used with appropriate operating parameters, beneficial effect RAW cells, thus paving way further vivo investigations will allow translation from research clinic alternative therapy gingivitis.

Introduction In recent years, immunotherapy has shown significant therapeutic potential in patients with advanced tumors. However, only a small number of individuals benefit, mainly due to the tumor microenvironment (TME), which provides conditions for development Macrophages TME, known as tumor-associated macrophages (TAM), are divided into M1 anti-tumor and M2 pro-tumor phenotypes, play regulatory role various stages tumorigenesis, promote tumorigenesis metastasis, cause resistance.
