Macrophages are increasingly recognized as crucial therapeutic targets in the treatment of diverse pathological conditions. While considerable research has focused on macrophage-related mechanisms within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), there remains a notable absence comprehensive quantitative analyses this field. This study aims to examine evolutionary trajectory TCM from 2003 2023, providing insights guide future investigative directions. We searched for articles published between and 2023 Web Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database analyzed them using R software, VOSviewer CiteSpace. A total 1,823 documents were obtained through search. The results indicated that number publications exhibited an upward trend, with majority these originating academic institutions authored by scholars. observation suggests potential correlation growing prominence medicine China.
