Developing novel, efficient, and safe peptide drugs from sea anemones has aroused great interest in countries around the world today. Sea contain complex protein toxins, which determine diversity of their biological activities. In this study, a variety activities were assessed for crude venom extracted five species South China anemones, including hemolytic, enzyme inhibition, anticancer, insecticidal, analgesic lethal The most toxic anemone was found to be Heteractis magnifica , high activity mice with an LD 50 11.0 mg/kg. H. also exhibited range potent activities, trypsin inhibitory, cytotoxic against U251 A549 cells, insecticidal addition, Stichodactyla haddoni effective inhibitor pepsin, crispa extremely strong toxicity HepG2 cells. These findings are significance exploring potential application resources, expected provide new directions possibilities development novel anticancer drugs, analgesics biopesticides.

Abstract In the past few years, emergence of organoids and organ-on-a-chip (OOAC) technologies, which are complementary to animal models two-dimensional cell culture methods can better simulate internal environment human body, provides a new platform for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) studies. Organoids OOAC techniques have been increasingly applied in fields drug screening, assessment development, personalized therapies, developmental biology, there some application cases TCM this review, we summarized current status using organoid technologies research provide key insights future study. It is believed that will play more important roles make greater contributions innovative development TCM.

Background Liver cancer is highly prevalent worldwide. However, current medical treatments remain insufficient. Although herbal medicine has a long history and extensive expertise in treating liver cancer, the literature this field not been thoroughly explored. This study aims to assess analyze distribution patterns key research areas of publications concerning for cancer. Methods Literature on published between January 1, 2008, September 28, 2024, was collected research. Excel, CiteSpace 6.4.R1, VOSviewer 1.6.20, Scimago Graphica, Bibliometrix 4.1 were used data analysis. Result The examines 634 academic articles with majority contributed by Chinese researchers, particularly from Shanghai University Traditional Medicine. Wang Ning most productive author, possessing highest h-index. JOURNAL OF ETHNOPHARMACOLOGY Journals publishing are primarily fields molecular biology immunology, whereas cited journals mainly environment, toxicology, nutrition. Keyword clustering analysis indicates that “NF kappa B” apoptosis have main topics field. Analysis emergent words suggests “network pharmacology”, antioxidants, “adjuvant therapy”, “molecular docking” may become significant near future. Conclusion provides comprehensive overview status, primary focuses, emerging trends related
