With the development of medicine and chemistry, an increasing number plant-derived medicines have been shown to exert beneficial therapeutic on treatment various physical psychological diseases. In particular, by using chemistry methods, we are able examine chemical components plants effects these substances human body. Muscle atrophy (MA) is characterized decreased muscle mass function, caused multiple factors severely affects quality life patients. The multifactorial complex pathogenesis MA hinders drug research disease treatment. However, phytotherapy has achieved significant results in MA. We searched PubMed Web Science for articles related atrophy. After applying exclusion inclusion criteria, 166 79 met respectively. A total 173 were included study after excluding duplicates. important role phytoactives such as curcumin, resveratrol, ginsenosides (e.g., maintaining a positive nitrogen balance muscles exerting anti-inflammatory antioxidant effects) extensively studied. Unfortunately, dose not single cause, each cause its own unique mechanism injury. This review focuses mechanisms active plant provides insights into personalized

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), a chronic condition commonly observed in adults, particularly among the elderly, is characterized by dysfunctional insulin response that impairs blood glucose regulation, resulting persistent hyperglycemia. Ginseng, medicinal plant with significant economic value and longstanding history of therapeutic use Asia, has shown efficacy against various diseases. Extensive clinical experimental studies highlight ginsenosides, its primary bioactive compounds, for their multiple effects across range conditions, including endocrine, cardiovascular, central nervous system disorders. Various ginsenoside types have demonstrated potential lowering levels, reducing resistance, alleviating complications through modulation key protein targets signaling pathways. This review consolidates pharmacological actions mechanisms distinct ginsenosides managing complications, offering theoretical foundation further research novel drug development T2DM treatment, while also providing robust support future applications.
