Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an aggressive malignancy with increasing incidence and mortality rates, highlighting the urgent need for early diagnosis treatment. However, of PDAC extremely challenging due to atypical symptoms or absence noticeable symptoms. As a result, many patients are diagnosed local metastasis, even who eligible surgical resection have high postoperative recurrence rate. Consequently, chemotherapy remains primary treatment PDAC. unique biological characteristics not only promote tumor progression metastasis but also often lead chemoresistance, significant barrier successful Recently, nanomaterials garnered attention as promising materials diagnosing treating PDAC, showing great potential in cancer therapy, imaging, drug delivery. Novel targeted nanomedicines, which encapsulate drugs gene therapy products, offer advantages overcoming resistance. These nanomedicines provide innovative solutions limitations conventional improve selectivity cells enhance therapeutic outcomes. Current research focused on development advanced such liposomes, nanotubes, polymer-lipid hybrid systems, aimed at making more effective longer lasting. This review provides detailed overview various utilized outlines future directions their key breakthroughs.

Background Our previously research has validated the effect of circELMOD3 on HCC tumor inhibition. However, further investigations are warranted to investigate prognostic significance in and its regulation via competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network. Methods The gene expression profiles clinical information were obtained from Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA-LIHC) International Consortium (ICGC). Base circMine, miRWalk TargetScan database, we constructed circELMOD3-miRNA-mRNA Univariate Cox least absolute shrinkage selection operator (LASSO) regression analysis was used model. Additionally, Gene set enrichment (GSEA) conducted for prognostic-related genes. Finally, levels genes proteins respectively assessed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) Western blotting. Results We a ceRNA network comprising circELMOD3, 5 miRNAs, 274 mRNAs. From this network, identified four prognostication-relation develop survival prediction In TCGA-LIHC training set, area under curve (AUC) values one-, three- five-years 0.734, 0.718 0.707, respectively, then model database. displayed that these primary enriched pathways related cell cycle regulation. finding demonstrated could affect relative N-cadherin, E-cadherin, CDK4, CDK6 CyclinD1 proteins. Conclusion novel based comprehensively characterizing prognosis HCC, providing valuable insights therapy HCC.
