Abstract This study sought to fabricate and characterize novel nanocomposite films of chitosan titanium dioxide in terms molecular structure, thermal, optical properties for usage food packaging optoelectronic applications. Fourier transform infrared analysis confirmed that TiO2-NPs interacted with demonstrated good compatibility. Differential scanning calorimetry thermogravimetric revealed increasing the concentration improved thermal stability nanocomposites.
