ABSTRACT Objective Confined placental mosaicism (CPM) is associated with an increased risk for pregnancy complications, such as fetal growth restriction (FGR), preterm birth and hypertensive disorders. Pregnancies possible CPM can be identified non‐invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). We performed a retrospective cohort study to investigate whether the mosaic ratio, calculated Veriseq v2 used NIPT, predict adverse outcomes in cases of CPM. Method A ratio trisomies detected by NIPT obstetric data growth, structural anomalies birthweight were retrospectively studied patients diagnosed between February 2021 October 2023. Structural sex chromosomal aberrations not included this study. Results Of 122 cases, 52 (42.6%) showed perinatal outcomes, including FGR, low birthweight, disorders, or birth. significantly higher was found outcome group compared those normal outcome, but clear‐cut threshold could set, except potentially trisomy 16. Conclusion There association However, without threshold, it cannot individual patient differentiation clinical consequences.
