Ascorbic acid (ASC) is a molecule naturally synthesized in plant cells, protecting against abiotic stresses by reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS), which cause oxidative damage. Aluminum (Al) toxicity the major limiting factor on crop productivity acidic soils, increasing ROS within cells and impairing growth development of plants. Exogenous antioxidant applications are an effective strategy to promote tolerance stress. The objective was evaluate effect foliar ASC (0, 50, 100, 200, 400 mg L−1 ASC) their interaction with Al µM Al) Star, Al-sensitive cultivar highbush blueberry. Significant increases 1.6-fold were observed roots leaves under treatment 200 ASC. In same treatment, increased pigments activity (~1.2- 2.3-fold) concomitant reduced lipid peroxidation. Positive correlations between organic exudation, ASC/DHA ratio, calcium levels observed, whereas negative correlation peroxidation dehydroascorbate (DHA) observed. Foliar application also ratio enhanced 2.2-fold exudation treatment. results suggest that improved redox balance underscore potential as practical solution enhance resilience
