The aquatic ecosystem is negatively impacted by organic dye contamination, which now one of the factors leading to environmental pollution. present investigation involved synthesis nanocellulose (NC) and modified with NiO (NC/NiO) composite using acid hydrolysis a one-step precipitation technique for NC NiO, respectively. Malachite green (MG) was catalytically removed from an aqueous solution two products, were mechanically homogenized. produced materials examined different characterization techniques, like FTIR, BET, Uv-vis, XRD, SEM-EDX, TGA. findings showed homogeneous distribution on NC. With MG serving as model dye, experiment conducted determine catalyst's catalytic removal ability. degradation experiments validated significance high activities synthesized NC/NiO toward breakdown dye. kinetic study malachite well-described pseudo-first-order model. After five reuse cycles, efficiency noted, demonstrating composite's remarkable stability reusability. As result, it determined that suitable catalyst in presence H
