Phenazine-1-carboxylic acid (PCA), as a broad-spectrum antifungal agent, showed significant resistance against the Apple Valsa canker caused by mali (V. mali). Therefore, it is of great importance to reveal functions and mechanisms PCA in plant pathogens, which would provide potential targets for crop disease control. In this study, we identified major contribution Pseudomonas chlororaphis subsp. aureofaciens W9-1 V. gene knockout high-performance liquid chromatography. Subsequently, demonstrated that could target isocitrate lyase (ICL) exert effect molecular docking, microscale thermophoresis, isothermal titration calorimetry. Furthermore, lipidomics analysis shows alters lipid balance at cell membrane mali. summary, study demonstrates has targeting ICL, may be development utilization fungicides.
