Effective communication is crucial for strengthening collaboration and ensuring the successful implementation of biosecurity measures against infectious diseases. A collaborative approach, where farmers veterinarians play a central role in decision-making, may have greater impact on promoting practices compared to top-down approach. The objective this study was explore perspectives researchers, official services, industry preferred methods between various on-farm stakeholders. Data were collected through four simultaneous focus groups conducted within framework COST Action BETTER project: three involving one services people. data analyzed using content analysis, which generated main themes 13 subthemes: (i) effective communicating messages farmers: direct interaction practical learning, audio-visual media support materials, importance personalization coordination, challenges innovative solutions; (ii) designing an optimal system promote behavioral change biosecurity: initial strategies communication: knowledge trust, integration technological tools, mandatory programs coordinated campaigns, continuous training incentives certifications; (iii) measuring success programs: evaluation tools audits, key indicators benchmarking, attitudes changes, participation as additional metrics. findings highlight need collaborative, personalized, sustainable approaches communication.
