Background
The
metaverse,
as
a
new
digital
interactive
platform,

garnering
significant
attention

exploration

due

advancements

occupational
health,
there

leveraging
the
metaverse

work

management.
It
offers
companies
more

Methods

literature
search
was
conducted
using
PubMed,

of
Science,
IEEE
Xplore,
Google
Scholar
databases

relevant
studies
published
between

2015
March
2024.

included
“metaverse,”
“virtual
reality,”
“occupational
health,”
“workplace
safety,”
“job
training,”
“telemedicine.”
selected
articles
were
analyzed,
key
findings
summarized
narratively.
Results
review
summarizes
broad
application
prospects
technology
in
immersive
training,
risk
identification
assessment,
disease
monitoring
diagnosis.
However,
applying
also
faces
challenges
such
inadequate
technical
standards,
data
privacy
issues,
human
hazards,
high
costs,
personnel
lagging
regulations.
