ABSTRACT Objectives Computer Assisted Implant Surgery (CAIS) with different technologies and modalities is becoming increasingly utilized in clinical practice. The aim of this White Paper was to synthesize evidence, reported experience, best practices regard clinically relevant outcomes static, dynamic, robotic CAIS. Materials Methods A review the literature compiled existing evidence from studies up November 2024, which later discussed synthesized into questions a panel international experts. Results There overwhelming for superiority CAIS accuracy implant placement some limited superior esthetic outcomes. At same time, related primary stability, survival rates, intra‐ postoperative complications, marginal bone loss, peri‐implant tissue health appear similar between guided non‐guided surgery, while efficiency poorly defined studied. importance execution comprehensive, prosthetically driven treatment plan not reflected most studies, focus mainly on assessment procedures rather than entire workflows. Such inherent limitations available research might conceal potential Conclusions Guided can achieve at least as good surgery. Studies that assess benefits part workflow, isolated procedures, could improve our understanding these technologies.

Purpose: When compared to conventional freehand procedures, the development of computer-assisted techniques in dental implant insertion surgery has significantly changed traditional practices, bringing about a movement toward improved precision and predictability. The purpose this study was evaluate efficiency methods versus static–dynamic placement procedures terms accuracy precision. Methodology: This followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, screening 438 articles from databases such as PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Web Science. inclusion criteria were randomized nonrandomized control trials, case controls retrospective studies, focusing on platform deviation, angular apical deviation dynamic, static, surgeries. Eleven studies selected review, with nine included meta-analysis. Heterogeneity analyzed using appropriate statistical models ensure robust findings reliability results. Results: meta-analysis comparing across techniques. Dynamic systems showed superior accuracy, deviations 0.64–1.73 mm, 2.49°–5.75°, 0.89–1.86 mm. Static slightly greater variability, 0.97–2.34 mm 2.2°–4.98°. Freehand demonstrated highest deviations, up 3.48 10.09°. Prediction intervals indicated consistent superiority dynamic guidance metrics. Conclusion: static methods, provides more In dentistry, adopting guided is essential attaining best clinical results raising patient satisfaction.
