High-Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma (HGSOC) represents the most prevalent and lethal subtype of ovarian cancer, with approximately 225,000 new cases reported globally each year a five-year survival rate merely 49.1%. The clinical management HGSOC encounters substantial challenges, primarily attributable to its intricate drug resistance mechanisms, which involve multiple biological processes, including tumor cell heterogeneity, microenvironment remodeling, gene mutations, efflux. This study systematically reviews recent advancements in research, concentrating on molecular foundations innovative detection strategies, potential therapeutic approaches. research indicates that constitutes complex process characterized by multifactorial interactions, involving aberrant signaling pathways, dynamic alterations microenvironment, specific expressions markers. In this review, we analyzed investigated behaviors associated resistance, not only enhances understanding disease progression but also provides essential theoretical for development more precise effective targeted therapies. review firstly illustrated detailed cellular mechanisms underlying chemotherapy, can pave way future studies practices.
