ABSTRACT This work focused on the photocatalytic degradation of amoxicillin using recently developed FeMoO 4 /chitosan/CdO nanocomposite (FeMoO /CS/CdO). The most typical antibiotic, amoxicillin, raises environmental threats due to its persistence in aquatic environments. Amoxicillin, extensively utilized as an has concerns existence nanocomposite, comprising iron molybdate ), chitosan (CS), and cadmium oxide (CdO) nanoparticles, was synthesized couple distinct properties each constituent, enhancing overall functionality. FCC‐NC characterized by presence clearly defined peaks infrared (IR) spectra, ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) x‐ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. We studied (AXM) /CS/CdO nanocomposite. Under ideal conditions (40 mg catalyst dosage 10 mg/L initial AXM concentration), we achieved a efficiency roughly 90.8%, following pseudo‐first‐order kinetics with rate constant 0.0222 min −1 . immobilized 2 more photocatalytically active than bare because it exhibited less charge carrier recombination, according EIS PL analysis. Hence, vast opportunity long‐term mechanism eradicating pharmaceutical pollutants water. study shows that obtained results may be useful field cleanliness water purification technologies.

ABSTRACT Aluminum oxide nanoparticles/activated carbon (Al 2 O 3 NPs/AC) nanocomposite were synthesized using an optimized sol–gel synthesis method. Various characterization techniques, including x‐ray, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), UV–visible spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry, employed electrochemical properties of the prepared samples. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed higher crystal plane intensities in Al NPs compared to /AC nanocomposites. The average crystallite size was determined be 32 nm for 20 FE‐SEM showcased agglomeration NPs, while composite exhibited agglomerated embedded It found that band gaps 5.5 5.6 eV, respectively. Electrochemical through voltammetry demonstrated specific capacitance nanocomposites six times than NPs. This comprehensive investigation provides valuable insights into enhanced performance nanocomposites, suggesting its potential application energy storage devices.

ABSTRACT Zinc oxide nanoparticles are increasingly recognized for their applications in optics, electronics, food packaging, and biomedical research. This study investigates the green synthesis of ZnONPs using leaf extracts from Crinum asiaticum , a tropical plant. The synthesized were characterized UV–Vis spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, Fourier‐transform infrared scanning electron microscopy, atomic force particle size analysis. exhibited strong absorption peak at 399 nm hexagonal wurtzite structure. Increasing volume plant extract enhanced crystallinity, as evidenced by higher intensities, narrower full width half maximum, well‐defined diffraction peaks. FTIR analysis revealed functional groups interacting with ZnONPs, volumes introducing additional that improved nanoparticle stability, size, structural order. highlights potential an eco‐friendly sustainable approach ZnONP synthesis, underscoring importance optimization tailoring properties.
