The conventional manganese carbonate preparation process faces challenges such as low resource utilization efficiency and difficulties in treating by-product Mg-containing ammonium sulfate solution. In this study, a two-stage leaching was developed to efficiently extract Mn Mg from the ore. NH4HCO3 used precipitant convert Mn2+ leachate MnCO3, achieving precipitation of 99.89%, resulting product contained 44.45% Mn, meeting first-class indicators HG/T 4203-2011 (Chinese standard on for industrial use). To further enhance utilization, combined stripping–adsorption designed treat solution generated during carbonization process. Subsequently, economically valuable gypsum magnesium oxide products were prepared. Additionally, 88.20% NH3 stripped recycled prepare then carbonization. Finally, purified free ammonia nitrogen obtained using 001×7 resin dynamically adsorb filtrates stripping process, maximum adsorption capacity 51.14 mg/g. This provides novel approach clean production industry.
