The shortage of feed protein has plagued the development animal husbandry industry in China. In this study, a new three-stage fermentation technology for producing distillers’ grain was developed by introducing Aspergillus niger, yeast, and lactic acid bacteria. During aerobic stage, there negative correlation between reducing sugar content grains amount niger. maximum concentration (36.89 mg g−1) obtained when oxygen supply 30 mL min−1 time two days. microaerophilic natural exchange achieved optimal true enhancement (from 10.8% to 16.4%) among three modes (natural exchange, forced ventilation, filling supplement). anaerobic bacteria were inoculated preservation flavor enhancement. Our results provided insight practical guidance high-value use grains.

The poultry industry is paying more attention to plant-based feed additives. Flavonoids are plant secondary metabolites derived from fruits, grains, vegetables, herbs, and medicinal plants. One of the most significant environmental stressors affecting worldwide heat stress, which lowers quality safety production. An imbalance between production free radicals body’s natural antioxidant defenses leads oxidative stress in cells. These reactive species can damage proteins, lipids, DNA, cellular structures. Improving status bodies by feeding them antioxidant-supplemented increase productivity health. Plant flavonoid compounds have drawn researchers as possible sources because their potential for use additives Numerous studies demonstrated that dietary flavonoids strong effects be utilized a tonic improve health productivity. Overall, research on capacity has generally shown promising results; however, there still issues regarding detrimental resolved, measuring vivo challenging. This review summarizes current understanding supplementation potent scavenger hydroxyl antioxidants.

Objective: Pre-slaughter transportation adversely impacts the welfare, meat yield, and quality of broilers, yet effects different crate types on broiler chickens during winter remain underexplored. The goal this study was to investigate effect plastic iron crates in transit quality, carcass, physiological traits winter. Methods: A total 175 (35-day-old) Ross 308 male broilers with an average body weight about 1,708±33.3 g (mean±standard error mean) were picked after 4 hours feed withdrawal before transport. control group comprises birds farm (n = 15) without at 173 cm2/kg density. transported into fixed (25 per crate) (15 four replicates type same densities. distance 20 km for 40 min speed 30-50 km/h early morning 8:00 am under −1°C 47% relative humidity. Results: There no difference (p>0.05) carcass among treatments. Concerning both exhibited lower (p<0.01) a* values compared group. Additionally, demonstrated higher (p<0.05) b* breast other groups. In terms blood metabolites, had cortisol, glucose, lactate levels that did not transport. Conclusion: Broilers increase stress contents plasma untransported winter. Therefore, employing crates, which induce significantly reduced cortisol numerically glucose appears more favorable animal welfare by mitigating stress.

ABSTRACT A total of 200 one-day-old Ross 308 male broilers were randomly assigned to 4 treatments and 5 replicates in a completely randomized design assess growth performance, serum biochemicals, intestinal characteristics for 42 days. Treatments comprised Control (C), probiotic, prebiotic pomegranate peel powder (PPP). The results showed that birds fed probiotic had higher average daily feed intake (ADFI) gain (ADG) compared the C groups from day 1 (p<0.05). Adding PPP improved ADFI (+2.73%) ADG (+3.16%) 42. significantly reduced increased conversion ratio (FCR) grower finisher periods comparison C, respectively. Moreover, no significant effect on FCR Birds villus height (VH) lower crypt depth (CD) duodenum than those other diets numerically surface area (VSA) treatment. Probiotic supplementation enhanced VSA jejunum Superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity prebiotic-fed birds, but not ones Probiotic, declined malondialdehyde (MDA) levels treatment Overall, inclusion performance broiler chicks.
