The quest for sustainable, alternative, and cost-effective biofeed resources has been driven by the increasing costs environmental concerns linked to conventional poultry feed. banana plant (Musa spp.), traditionally valued its fruit, is gaining recognition as a versatile sustainable resource livestock industry. Rich in essential nutrients, fibers, bioactive compounds, by-products enhance animal health, improve digestion, reduce feed costs. Studies reveal that have potential natural growth promoters, prebiotics, antioxidants, contributing improved efficiency resilience against diseases. peel of good source vitamins, crude protein (6-9 %), starch (3 total nutritional fiber (43.2-49.7 fat (3.8-11 making it nutrition animals birds. In addition, banana's peels contain flavonoids, tannins, phlobatannins, alkaloids, glycosides, terpenoids. These compounds antibacterial, promoter, antioxidant, stress reducer, anti-cholesterol, antihypertensive, immunostimulants, anti-inflammatory properties. plant, which often regarded agricultural waste, rich carbohydrates, fiber, minerals, valuable component. Results from experimental studies showed conversion efficiency, performance, gut health fed with fermented plant-based diets. Fermentation improves quality biomass digestibility, reducing anti-nutritional factors, enriching probiotics compounds. had substantial influence on weight gain consumption chickens. Banana meal may be used into broiler chicken diets at maximum 10 % without negatively impacting productivity. Silver nanoparticles (nano-Ag) produced can an alternate growth-promoting supplement production. This approach offers advantages minimizing waste encouraging more production practices. Overall, available highlight considerable promise plants environmentally friendly option feeding, tackling both economic ecological issues faced sector.
