patients

chronic
health
conditions
experience
anxiety,
which
can
have
significant
implications
on
physical
outcomes
and
quality
of
life.
This
systematic
review
meta-analysis
aimed
to
examine
the
prevalence
anxiety
in
gastroenterology
hepatology
outpatients,
across
factors
such
as
condition,
type
patient
demographics,
intention
support
clinicians
providing
effective
care.

reviews

investigating
rates

outpatient
settings,

consistently
high

cardiology
