With the popularization of low-dose computed tomography scanning technology, detection rate pulmonary nodules has significantly increased, and diagnosis become a critical issue in medical field. Close monitoring early potentially malignant are essential for improving patient survival. Bronchoscopic biopsy shown remarkable results histological nodules. Advances this field have led to several innovative diagnostic tools, including endobronchial ultrasound, ultrathin bronchoscopy, virtual bronchoscopic navigation, electromagnetic navigation robotic-assisted bronchoscopy. The development these techniques greatly improved capabilities especially peripheral nodules, thereby providing more effective tools. We reviewed recent advances interventional bronchoscopy diagnosing treating with particular focus on strategies detecting

This narrative review examines the existing literature on minimally invasive image-guided sampling techniques of mediastinal lesions gathered from international databases (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar). Original studies, systematic reviews with meta-analyses, randomized controlled trials, case reports published between January 2009 November 2023 were included. Four authors independently conducted search to minimize bias, removed duplicates, selected evaluated studies. The focuses recent advancements in techniques, including EBUS-TBNA, EUS-FNA FNB, IFB, nodal cryobiopsy. highlights advantages an integrated approach using these for diagnosing staging diseases, which, when used competently, significantly increase diagnostic yield accuracy.
