Abstract China is committed to the targets of achieving peak CO 2 emissions around 2030 and realizing carbon neutrality 2060. To realize neutrality, people are seeking replace fossil fuel with renewable energy. Thermal energy storage key overcoming intermittence fluctuation utilization. In this paper, relation between thermal first addressed. Then, classifications Carnot batteries given. The aim review provide an insight into promising technologies for application in order neutrality. Three types heat methods, especially latent thermochemical storage, analyzed detail. influenced by many properties, such as temperature range, capacity, cost, stability, technical readiness. Therefore, properties different reviewed compared. advantage challenge processes analyzed. Finally, prospects summarized.

Several empirical studies have explored the influence of financial development on energy consumption; however, impact development, economic growth, and FDI renewable consumption (REC) has not been studied in case UAE. For this purpose, long short-run interactions among FDI, are by applying new technique bootstrap autoregressive distributed lag, along with Granger causality analysis, context UAE for period from 1989–2019. Using estimation techniques, study reveals main findings implications policymakers The present research provides significant evidence that growth can significantly increase Therefore, it is essential to promote order avert risks undermine stability markets negatively affect REC. Furthermore, should concept green finance provide more funds investments sustainable
