This research examined the observed datasets and a theoretically derived model for estimating yearly optimum tilt angle (β), maximum incident solar radiation (Hmax), clean gain indicator (CGI), soiling loss (SLI) at Mumbwa, Zambia, Mediterranean Region, low latitude locations across globe. The cleaned tilted collector emerged as best performing due to Hmax much higher energy gains compared with soiled collector. CGI showed an appreciable performance of 0.4737% over -0.4708% on SLI, indicating that surface photovoltaic (PV) modules significantly depreciates overall PV modules. Two established empirical models obtained from literature were theoretical (β=φ). result revealed two overestimated annual in this paper, simply because developed high location Asia continent. However, newly monthly global (GRI) by authors their previous paper performed excellently selected representative cities region.

Solar power has rapidly become an increasingly important energy source in many countries over recent years; however, the intermittent nature of photovoltaic (PV) generation a significant impact on existing systems. To reduce this uncertainty and maintain system security, precise solar forecasting methods are required. This study summarizes compares various PV approaches, including time-series statistical methods, physical ensemble machine deep learning last which there is particular focus. In addition, optimization algorithms for model parameters summarized, crucial factors that influence forecasts investigated, input selection models discussed. Probabilistic expected to play key role required meet challenges faced by modern grid systems, so provides comparative analysis deterministic probabilistic models. Additionally, importance data processing techniques enhance performance highlighted. comparison with extant literature, paper addresses more issues concerning application forecasting. Based survey results, complete comprehensive process must include feature extraction capabilities, powerful structure training, method evaluate its predictions.

Abstract The global agenda to increase the renewable energy share has driven many countries and entities harness solar from photovoltaic (PV) systems. However, power generation of PV systems is strongly affected by climate conditions. Therefore, main objective this study analyze predict different technologies under arid desert conditions on an hourly basis. Two areas have been considered as case studies: Adrar in Algeria Alice Springs Australia. A total nine physical models input parameter combinations six plants used tested for suitability proposed predicting yield depending irradiance other meteorological variables. Then, ensemble learning technique applied improve performance capabilities best-fit combinations. results reveal that irradiance, ambient air temperature, relative humidity combination are most related output all all-sky provide effective efficient with learning, estimated accuracy over 99%.

In this study, six different PV power technology models from similar climatic environments in West Africa were used to estimate the potential of generation and apply model evaluate effects climate change on output region. This was achieved by using historical projected satellite datasets obtained ECMWF database. It found that, compared other technologies, poly-crystalline silicon (p-Si) yielded highest increase solar modules both best-case moderate-case scenarios. However, worst-case scenario, amorphous (a-Si) produces less than a 1% production, while technologies produce decrease output. The CMIP6 also assess region's global radiation. With exception near- far-future Boreal winter seasons (DJF), as impact intensifies, there may be corresponding radiation moderate- scenarios between 2015-2050 2051–2100, well annual resolution implying that energy should main contributor renewable low-carbon economic planning addition, authors develop test 171 theoretical Africa's potential.
