The corrected abstract is as follows. This article aims to study the benzyl alcohol premixing effect on 5E concept of compression ignition engines powered with a lemongrass oil-diesel blend. central composite approach used create experimental matrix for load (50–100%) and ratio (0–20%). experiment uses computerized ignition, water-cooled, single-cylinder, naturally aspirated, four-stroke engine. statistical model tested using analysis variance confirmed at 95% confidence level. Quadratic linear models are created, regression equations provide surface plots analyse load–premixing interaction output response. Premixing 20% maximum loads confirms 31.09%, 14.95%, 39.91%, 17.26%, 11.06%, 7.59%, 36.61%, 4.34% higher enviroeconomic loss, thermal efficiency, brake-specific carbon dioxide, nitrogen monoxide, cooling water exergy, sustainability index, volumetric exhaust gas temperature. It also has lower exergoeconomic thermoeconomic energy consumption, smoke opacity, hydrocarbon fuel destructed entropy generation by 23.64%, 30.4%, 17.50%, 13.6%, 81.30%, 18.1%, 27.77%, respectively. necessary control monoxide recirculation or selective catalytic reduction technology in future work.

The purpose of this research is to look at performance and emission characteristics Ethiopian Prosopis Juliflora biodiesel (JFB) blended with diethyl ether (DEE) additive in varying proportions. experiment includes testing different blends DEE concentrations, namely D100, B100, B20DEE5, B20DEE10, B20DEE15, B20DEE20. FT-IR (Fourier transform infra-red) analysis was employed investigate whether necessary functional groups for a were present. Rheometer how shear rate temperature affect the stress viscosity fuels employed. Results show that D100 exhibits highest brake thermal efficiency (BTE) across load range, while B100 has lowest. Although have lower BTE than diesel, results are comparable. Notably, 50 % load, B20DEE10 achieves 31.4 %, closer 36.7 %. Brake-specific fuel consumption (BSFC) decreases as increases up While BSFC JFB, B20, higher all engine loads, shows comparable result 203 g/kWh versus 181 load. Emission levels CO2, HC, CO diesel compared fuels, NOx being fuels. DEE's Cetane rating latent heat evaporation along shorter ignition time faster release seems emissions, especially medium loads. At full lowest smoke opacity value. Additionally, analyses confirm presence rheological decrease increasing shear-thinning behavior JFB range rates ranging from 203.4 47.5 mPa.s, 10–150 s−1.
