In
recent
years,
global
efforts
toward
sustainable
energy
have
intensified,
aiming
to
reduce
carbon
emissions
and
boost
efficiency.
Heating
in
winter
hot
water
for
hygiene
are
essential,
especially
cold
climates
where
heating
demands
significantly
impact
household
consumption.
This
study
examines
a
city
western
Inner
Mongolia,
characterized
by
severe
climate
unique
geology.
A
test
system
with
dual
U-shaped
buried
pipes
ground
source
heat
storage
extraction
was
constructed,
utilizing
two
layout
schemes.
Drilling
tests
measured
formation
parameters,
highlighting
how
pipe
soil
characteristics
influence
storage.
Short-term
5-day
cycles
cross-seasonal
60-day
were
tested.
Results
showed
upper
suited
frequent
short-term
storage,
while
lower
favored
long-term
retention.
Increasing
raised
temperature
capacity,
enhancing
thermal
stability
cycles.
However,
the
capacity
improved,
loss
also
rose.
Effective
pump
design
regions
should
consider
environmental
temperatures,
optimization,
characteristics,
duration
achieve
stable,
efficient
operation.
