Abstract
Here
we
report
a
practical
laboratory
that
first-year
undergraduate
students
can
do
in
general
chemistry
framework
to
explore
both
electrochemistry
and
transition
metal
chemistry.
These
activities
focus
on
the
use
of
saccharides
specifically
starch
as
possible
sustainable
sources
energy
by
experimenting
with
redox
reactions
occur
between
vanadate
ions
different
saccharides.
Students
undergo
hands-on
experiments
order
see
color
changes
indicate
electron
transfer
link
real-world
applications
these
concepts
conversion.
To
reduce
dependency
foreign
resources
economic
risks
product
prices,
employed
agricultural

electricity.
Through
application
“Sufficiency
Economy”

global
