ABSTRACT This study uses experimental and numerical methods to evaluate a hybrid photovoltaic‐thermal system (PVT‐S) against traditional photovoltaic panel (PV‐P) in El Jadida, Morocco. A polypropylene heat exchanger covering 70% of the PV‐P surface is analyzed for its impact on thermal distribution performance. The effects water mass flow rate (FRT) solar irradiance cell temperature, electrical power, energy, efficiencies are examined. Simulations were performed using finite element method FRT 60, 90, 120, 180 L/h. Experimental tests validated results, showing strong agreement confirming analyses' reliability. results reveal maximum power difference 30.42 W between PVT‐S at 120 L/h FRT. Thermal increase with higher rates, greater irradiation, smaller inlet‐outlet temperature difference. lower temperature. average efficiency PVT system, 32.99% 51.15%, than literature values due imperfect contact PV‐P, along limited irrigated area 70%. Partial cooling leads uneven distribution, reducing performance shortening lifespan.
