Mixed-mode sorbents exhibit two or more primary retention mechanisms, which can enhance the selectivity and capacity of extraction process in a single step. In this study, facile approach was proposed to prepare functionalized metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) by post-synthetic oxidation. The composites could be varied independently for each processing step, resulting four meet different sample pretreatment requirements. Then, fabricated MOFs were used as enrichment acidic neutral compounds on an online solid phase extraction. exhibited dual mechanism combining hydrophilic-lipophilic balance cation exchange interactions. Excellent linearity observed over range 0.5-5000 μg kg-1 parabens 10-50,000 sulfonamides pre-cooked foods. detection limits 0.02 1.27 kg-1, respectively. This method provided novel mixed-mode framework simultaneous determination complex samples.
