Investigating the interplay between ecosystem services and human well-being is crucial for enhancing ecological conservation achieving a superior quality of development. This research examined spatial–temporal disparities in across 87 counties Gansu Province using coupling coordination degree model geographically weighted regression analysis. The key findings include following: (1) Over two decades, from 2000 to 2020, witnessed financial appreciation approximately CNY 29.32 billion. distribution displayed notable trend, with higher values southeastern counties, particularly Gannan Longnan, whereas lower prevailed Hexi area. (2) populace experienced substantial enhancement, registering 75% increase during same period, characterized by indices north, especially Hexi, lowest Linxia sector Longzhong. (3) escalated 0.412 0.587, transitioning moderate dysfunction over decades. Regions such as recorded discordance their coordination, regions including Longzhong, Longdong demonstrated more stable, basic coordination. (4) Influences on county significant spatial variability, often aligned along distinct geographic bands. Economic natural foundations were predominantly southeast northwest, while investment urbanization levels prominent west east, industrialization distributed an east–west axis.

The lower course of the Yellow River is a “hanging river” across hinterland China, and safety its flood control measures/systems closely tied to stability nation. Ensuring high-quality, sustainable development floodplain while maintaining crucial for entire Basin. Previous studies have primarily focused on overall Basin or economic–ecological coupling cities along river, often neglecting floodplain. This study optimizes socio-economic–flood-safety–ecological (SFE) system typical downstream Landong within dynamics model (SDM) can simulate dynamic behavior SFE systems by constructing mathematical models that incorporate feedback loops time delays. primary components include causal loop modules stock-flow modules. Then, coordination degree established using comprehensive subjective objective weighting method, assessing system’s under five scenarios: inertial development, economic environmental protection, safety, development. results historical validity tests indicate SDM effectively system. suggest increases most scenario, indicating should not only focus socio-economic growth, but also consider ecological concerns. In addition, regulation from socio-economic, environment indicators are necessary achieve coordinated has significant implications policy formulation management high-quality in River.

The escalating challenges of global climate change have made the development low-carbon cities—urban areas committed to reducing carbon emissions through sustainable energy use, enhanced building efficiency, and transport solutions—a critical area study. However, there remains a significant gap in systematic review thematic evolution emerging frontiers within this field. This study addresses by analyzing data from Web Science database, initially retrieving 1,743 articles articles. Following PRISMA guidelines, we refined selection 1,648 high-quality publications. Using tools such as CiteSpace VOSviewer, conducted an in-depth analysis identify core authors, prolific countries/regions, leading institutions, key journals. Our revealed three evolutionary stages research on international city development. Additionally, identified seven predominant topics recent studies: land emissions, ecological environment quality, ecosystem services, human health, consumption, economic costs. These findings contribute clearer more comprehensive framework for cities, serving valuable reference scholars practitioners involved both theoretical practical aspects

The digital economy enhances economic efficiency and improves structure, driving growth through transformations in efficiency, momentum, quality. It has become a new force for advancing common prosperity. This study uses SDM, SDID, SPSTR models to explore the impact of on prosperity, which constructs index system evaluate prosperity from process outcome index. According panel data 76 cities Yellow River Basin 2011 2021, findings are as follows: (1) exhibits development pattern characterized by high activity downstream lower upstream, trend is stable. changed sporadic distribution regional agglomeration, level most improved. (2) significant positive spatial effect And robust after introducing “Big Data” exogenous policy impact, dynamic SDM model, other methods. Moreover, heterogeneity exists. promotion upper reaches stronger, while middle weakly affected economy. (3) spillover boundary, maximum value at 600–650 KM. (4) Nonlinear analysis confirms that provides momentum industrial structure optimization can effectively stimulate “endogenous” mechanism, strengthen marginal increasing enhance “making bigger pie”. makes effective use resources technologies, promotes equalization public services, exerts realization consolidates “dividing better cake”.
