This study presents an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to evaluate the management strategies for Human-Orangutan Conflict (HOC) in Aceh, Indonesia. Utilizing IPA Grid, research categorizes various into four quadrants, each reflecting different levels of community-perceived importance and performance. Strategies like "Orangutan-Safe Fences" "Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) Orangutans" Quadrant A are both important performing well, underscoring effectiveness current efforts these areas. Significantly, "Traditional Measures Orangutan Deterrence," which include non-harmful, traditional methods such as use specific noise deterrents, physical barriers, community-led patrols discourage orangutans from entering human areas, alongside "Quick Response Program Incidents," placed B.. In C, "Strengthen Law Enforcement Conservation Policies" deemed less crucial underperforming, suggesting a lower priority immediate resource allocation. Lastly, D includes well-performing but critical "Early Warning Systems Presence" "Raise Local Awareness About Orangutans," pointing potential over-investment. The study's findings advocate strategic reallocation resources highlight aligning conservation with community priorities effective sustainable HOC management.

Abstract This study explores the economic valuation of tourist support for carbon reduction initiatives within context blue economy tourism in Nusa Penida, Indonesia. Employing a contingent method (CVM), research quantifies tourists’ willingness to pay (WTP) aimed at reducing emissions and promoting sustainable practices marine-focused setting. A sample 1,152 tourists was surveyed assess their financial commitment based on demographic variables such as income, gender, environmental awareness. The analysis reveals that with higher incomes strong inclinations exhibit greater propensity financially projects. is influenced significantly by an understanding benefits these have marine conservation overall health local ecosystem. study’s findings offer crucial insights stakeholders sectors, indicating effective communication positive impacts environments can enhance visitor contributions. Abstract This preliminary study examines the willingness of tourists to contribute financially forest fire prevention in Bromo, Indonesia, a region frequently affected by fires that pose risk both its ecological health and tourism-driven economy. Employing contingent valuation method, research gathered data from 480 visitors regarding their pay (WTP) for implementing effective management strategies. The analysis explored how demographic factors such as gender, income, type tourist, along with perceptions about effectiveness current measures, influence WTP. Logistic regression was utilized analyze data, identifying key predictors WTP implications. Results highlighted higher income levels strong perception early warning systems significantly influenced In contrast, like gender perceived importance green area development showed lesser impact. These insights provide valuable guidance crafting targeted approaches increase public funding management, crucial sustainable tourism environmental preservation Bromo.

Abstract Jakarta faces an air quality crisis exacerbated by vehicle emissions and urban congestion, with policymakers seeking effective solutions. This study explores attitudes behaviours regarding Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) usage among freshmen at Universitas Pertamina. Using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) cluster analysis on data from 189 valid samples, the research identifies three distinct factors: Environmental Governmental Support for MRT, Personal Productivity Benefits of Accessibility Operational Convenience MRT. The reveals student groups: Fully Engaged, Environmentally Benefit Seekers, Less Engaged. Findings indicate that regular MRT users are more supportive initiatives, suggesting targeted educational campaigns improved accessibility could promote sustainable transport habits. Policy measures such as fare subsidies better public integration may further encourage adoption, contributing to Jakarta’s clean goals.
