Challenges brought on by the rapid rate of economic growth include depletion natural resources (NAR) and environmental deterioration. Due to its abundant mineral growth, China has gained attention from both developing developed worlds. Using data 1970/Q1 2020/Q4, this paper evaluates time‐frequency nexus between CO 2 emissions resources, coal consumption, growth. The study employs Wavelet Local Multiple Correlation (WLMC) explore nexus. This approach enhances capacity comprehend fundamental relationships these indicators at different frequencies. To best investigator' knowledge, is first empirical investigation resource, use, in China, thus filling a gap literature. Furthermore, wavelet coherence employed as robustness check. WLMC bivariate cases revealed that drive positively all frequencies, is, short long‐term, leading degradation. results support outcomes cases. offers significant implications for policy insights are supported findings.

Given that the United States of America and European Union are among world's top greenhouse gas emitting economies, it poses yet to be answered questions on whether efficient utilization nonrenewable energy sources or renewable intensification in these economies account for any environmental benefit. To answer inherent questions, this study examines compares performances response efficiency, intensity, environmental-related technologies while controlling natural resource rent urban population over period 1990–2019. By implementing advantage Kernel-Based Regularized Least Squares alongside robustness measures, findings posit significantly mitigates (GHG) emission economies. Importantly, three metrics show louder impact EU, efficiency plays a environmentally desirable role than other two metrics. Conversely, resources urbanization hampers sustainability by increasing GHG Unfortunately, terribly more damaging arising from increased is noticeable EU. These afford concrete policy measures further devised USA entire globe given foresight net zero target.

Global warming has progressed into a pressing global concern, primarily driven by human activities. To address this issue, it is vital to identify the key drivers of ecological quality and develop effective policies in response. Consequently, study seeks empirically examine causal effect financial globalization, economic growth, policy uncertainty, oil consumption on load capacity factor (LF) Brazil. The analysis utilizes quarterly data spanning from 1990 2021. In pursuit, introduces an array quantile-based methodologies, encompassing quantile ADF, PP, KPSS tests, as well innovative Quantile-on-Quantile Granger Causality (QQGC) approach. QQGC represents notable advancement beyond traditional causality (QGC) methods, accounts for conditional distribution dependent independent variables. This bridges critical gap existing literature introducing capture influence regressors LF. findings derived indicate that significantly predict LF across all quantiles. These results offer valuable insights can inform formulation strategies aimed at addressing mitigating impacts warming.

African countries have become interested in economic transformation through revamping their manufacturing sectors. However, the environmental effect of industrialization is an issue great concern, with need to maintain a sustainable environment line development goals. This study investigates on sustainability Africa, taking consideration moderation renewable energy and non-renewable consumption. Data was collected for 46 from Global Footprint Network, World Development Indicators Bank Food Agricultural Organization 2000 2022. Robust panel fixed effects regression generalized least squares methods were used analyze data. The empirical results showed that value added has negative significant sustainability. when interacted consumption, exerted positive load capacity factor, indicating will be if sector activities are powered by energies. suggests ability propel industrial growth Africa while sustaining environment. moderating estimates. suggest fossil fuel particularly clean fuels or natural gas can still drive without considerably harming but continual use it long run make unsustainable. From above results, this recommends take place, should grow her extending range manufactured products light heavy manufactures ensuring remains major source supply.
