Findings from causality-in-quantile-means test suggest that stock returns are asymmetrically predicted by WTI, OVX, VIX GPR. The findings quantile regression quantile-on-quantile metrics demonstrate (i) bearish periods, could hedge against GPR, (ii) WTI does not serve as for regardless sector activity, (iii) OVX possess some hedging safe-haven attributes stocks. These have notable implications regulation portfolio management.
