Forecasting bioenergy feedstock commodity volatility has received significant attention due to its importance in biofuel production and household consumption. Several extreme events, including the COVID-19 pandemic, have sparked interest studying role of structural breaks on modeling prediction these markets. This study extensively examines performance econometric models at multiple horizons using a rolling-window approach, with without accommodating changes. We exploit ICSS algorithm determine in-sample estimation windows accommodate breaks. extend procedure beyond GARCH-class models. Also, detected break information defines regime dummies. The innovatively evaluates specific by incorporating binary variables for sudden shifts unconditional variance. Our findings reveal that accounting endogenously through dummy leads considerable forecast accuracy gains.

With the depletion of conventional oil resources, waxy crude has become a focus development. Wax deposition is prone to occur in at low temperatures, and can easily cause pipeline blockage. Hence, preventing wax while ensuring safety transportation reducing energy consumption popular research topic. Pour point depressants are normally used solve problem. In this paper, recent on pour reviewed mechanism by which inhibit clarified. Commonly characterization methods performance evaluations summarized. According composition depressants, chemical structures effects polymers, surfactants, green nanohybridized analyzed. Among these four, have better application prospects due their unique size, excellent heat resistance, stability, exceptional optical, electrical, magnetic properties, effectively improve inhibition pure polymers or surfactants. Finally, future challenges
