Limiting CO2 emissions is crucial for sustainable development, environmental protection, and climate change mitigation, ensuring a more resilient cleaner future. Prioritizing urbanization renewable energy, energy efficiency vital achieving this prosperous As result, we adopt the Fourier testing approach stationary, cointegration, estimator, causality, to scrutinize role of efficiency, on in Finland over period between 1990 2020, controlling economic growth trade openness. The empirical analysis ARDL estimator establishes that measures such as gas oil exhibit an adverse effect emissions, so mitigates emissions. Similarly, study also found reduce Conversely, openness induce Additionally, Fourier-Toda-Yamamoto method provides robust evidence regarding long-term implications examined factors. Based emphasizes implementing regulatory framework enhance promote adoption, support urban development will be essential strategy global effort attain net-zero target, which offers valuable insights other countries seeking transition towards sources.

Abstract This is a study of Norway's sustainable environment development amidst the interactions natural resources, external investment (FDI) and economic development. Much has been done with respect to performance in relation link between resources FDI little emphasis on environmental resource‐based economy. Also, Norway classified as among top countries Europe greater percentage adopting renewable energy, no critical review impact which are part drivers carbon emission that can counter positive energy towards environment. On this basis, adopts time series data Norway, 1970 2018 its performance. Approaches such structural break analysis, Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL)‐bound testing Granger causality estimations utilised for in‐depth analysis subject. Findings from ARDL confirmed association fuels emission, other indicators (economic growth resources) improving quality country's even though shows sign remains insignificant impacting short run reverted significant negative relationship emissions. confirms pollution halo hypothesis rejects haven (PHH) trend be sustained constant implementation rules country. test confirms, one‐way transition fossil growth, fuels. two‐way transmission found FDI. Abstract Several developing markets, such as Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS), are facing challenges in attaining the targets set with regard to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While previous studies have extensively examined Environmental Kuznets Curve BRICS nations, focusing on other proxy of environmental degradation like CO 2 emissions ecological footprint, little attention has been given Load Capacity (LCC) hypothesis specifically relation emerging economies. Consequently, there exists a gap literature regarding validation LCC for these To bridge this gap, our research intends assess validity context countries. Specifically, we investigate impact biomass energy social globalization load capacity factor (a quality) countries from 1990 2018, while considering roles economic growth natural resources. Additionally, explore development an SDG framework tailored which can serve blueprint analyze data, employ Method Moments‐Quantile‐Regression (MMQR) approach along long‐run estimators. The findings MMQR analysis reveal that resources, globalization, gross domestic product adverse effects quality, exhibits positive influence quality. Furthermore, validates We also observe evidence causality between its determinants. Based investigation, recommend transition policies hydrocarbon sustainable options by implementing innovative approaches technology enhance conversion efficiency. Implementing policy changes will not only quality but align targets.

This study examines the influence of non-renewable energy consumption, renewable economic growth, and natural disasters on Indonesia's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions spanning from 1980 to 2021. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model is employed, with supplementary robustness checks utilizing Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS), Dynamic (DOLS), Canonical Cointegration Regression (CCR). findings reveal that along significantly affects CO2 in both short long term. Robustness confirm positive impact consumption while has a negative effect emissions. Moreover, exhibit short-term Pairwise Granger causality results further underscore intricate relationships between variables. To mitigate climate change curb Indonesia, recommends implementing policies foster sustainable development, encourage adoption energy, enhance disaster resilience.

Abstract This study inspects the environmental impact of resource efficiency, natural gas and coal efficiency in top energy transition economies while incorporating economic growth globalization, social political globalization as control variables. We utilized method moments quantile regression to analyze a dataset from 1990 2021, dynamic ordinary least square, fixed-effect fully modified square methods were used for robustness analysis. The outcomes estimators revealed that contribute decline CO 2 emissions. Conversely, results further indicated growth, intensify Furthermore, panel Granger causality test was also utilized, which evidence bidirectional association between emissions all regressors except globalization. However, unidirectional causal connection identified From observed alongside inferences drawn analysis, we offer holistic policy approach attaining carbon neutrality by driving development implementation initiatives.
