Abstract Asia–Pacific countries are experiencing rapid economic growth. Is this growth ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors‐based aligned growth? Therefore, study investigates the connections between indicators in East Asia Pacific South Asia. To achieve aim, we employed FMOLS, DOLS, AMG models. While model highlights significant long‐term positive effects of environmental (EFs) governance factors (GOVNF) on growth, FMOLS DOLS models emphasize substantial influence social (SOC) These findings underscore multifaceted nature offer valuable insights for policymakers aiming to align strategies with sustainable development goals (SDGs). Notably, GOVNF, components like control corruption, regulatory quality, rule law, government effectiveness, does not GDP developed nations, such as Japan, New Zealand, Australia. However, its significance is evident Afghanistan Sri Lanka. This result might stem from possibility that have historically addressed resolved issues corruption while these elements remain crucial determinants developing nations Empirical provide region's essential a guide implementing their policies factor‐based United Nations' SDGs. targets will make sustainable.

Abstract In recent decades, the detrimental impacts of climate change have been increasingly felt worldwide. This is due to extreme consumption natural resources fuel economic activity. Confronting a widening ecological deficit, humanity must urgently accelerate its journey toward sustainable development goals (SDGs). demands active efforts curb environmental pollution and protect resources, safeguarding planet for future generations. Since Brazil has high biocapacity areas, impact energy on sustainability policies cannot be excluded. Moreover, holds vital position in world global foreign direct investment flows. this regard, paper considers asymmetric mineral rents investments when investigating Brazil's sustainability. addition, it evaluates elements like growth low‐carbon from 1970 2021. To end, research applies Fourier nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag model draws three significant conclusions. First, resource extraction undermines Second, inflow reduces load capacity factor, implying that haven hypothesis Brazil. Third, contributes Our findings highlight critical role regulating achieving SDGs increasing clean sources transitioning can promote The Brazilian government should abandon extraction, focus consumption, prevent companies destroying nature by introducing strict regulations

This study investigated the asymmetric impact of natural resource exploitation on climate change in resource-rich African countries, based panel data from 1980 to 2022. The dynamic common correlated effect (DCCE) and seemingly unrelated regression (DSUR) econometric techniques were employed evaluate long-term effects positive shocks negative exploitation. findings revealed a relationship between both temperature, with increases exerting more intensified temperature than decreases. In contrast, changes are negatively related precipitation, an increased intensity having pronounced rainfall patterns. also highlights critical role control variables such as GDP per capita, urban population, total energy consumption altering precipitation underscore importance adopting sustainable extraction practices, integrating green technologies, promoting collaboration across renewable value chains mitigate impacts
