We examine the impact of renewable energy technology innovation on carbon emissions within framework China's 'dual carbon' goal, focusing role local (provincial) government competitions and economic competition. Analyzing data across 30 provinces from 2010 to 2019, we investigate correlation between advancements emission reductions how competition modulates this relationship. Our findings suggest that innovations have a significant negative emissions. The study reveals among governments positively affects reductions, while has impact. These results contribute understanding regulatory can support or impede achievement dual objectives, emphasizing need for competitive yet collaborative environment enhance benefits innovations.

Considering increasing public interest in environment-related problems and the carbon-neutrality aims of countries, this study focuses on effect green bonds enabling carbon neutrality supporting clean electricity China, which is leading top carbon-emitting energy-using country world. In context, makes a disaggregated level empirical analysis by considering sectoral emissions source-based generation using quantile-based approaches from January 2, 2019, to December 31, 2023. The outcomes show that (i) decrease mainly transport international aviation sectors; (ii) have mixed effects remaining emissions; (iii) increase all sources at higher quantiles, whereas they lower quantiles. Thus, varies across sectors, sources, Accordingly, set policy endeavors, such as dealing with firstly critical sectors power industry, allocated bond issuance specified focusing some like solar wind, are argued for China.

We explore the impact of financial technology (fintech) advancements on green credit provision, investigating publicly traded banks in China from 2007 to 2022. particularly focus modelling innovation, examining non-linear dynamics between fintech evolution and distribution. Results reveal a positive U-shaped correlation. Initial stages are associated with increased risk, negatively affecting volume credit. However, more established infrastructures significantly enhance volumes by improving resource allocation risk assessment. Utilizing multiple linear regression approach, we highlight transformative nature advancing sustainable banking practices, through innovations modeling that management efficiency.
