Revealing the linkage between interregional coordination and a green economy is crucial to economic resilience high-quality development capabilities. Although local governments in China are increasingly emphasizing environmental policy coordination, academics have not fully investigated whether it can advance development. This research aims quantify from perspectives of actor tool further investigates its effects, particularly when considering mediating role natural resource endowment. The analysis based on policies related data issued by 284 cities 2003 2022. results indicate that (1) contributes development, which complementary indispensable. (2) It exhibits heterogeneity characteristics stronger promoting effect resource-rich areas, as well spillover gradually weaken with increasing distance. (3) Interregional promotes reducing abundance dependence; however, both mainly play lowering abundance. study offers useful insights for policymakers seeking maximize benefits while utilizing limited resources protecting environment.

This paper assesses the interconnectedness between access to finance (ATF), financial development (FD) and sustainable economic (SED). The study employed a sample of world developing economies obtained data from World Development Indicator Database (WDI) 2010 2022. incorporates static dynamic panel estimation models test proposed connection. findings show favourable impact FD on SED suggesting that expansion across countries plays crucial role in enhancing development. Additionally, robust system facilitates effective mobilization allocation cash towards investments eco-friendly initiatives infrastructure, expediting preservation natural resources protection environment. Purpose This study integrates economic, environmental, and social dimensions into the distribution network for India’s Public Distribution System (PDS). It aims to identify multi-modal strategies that balance cost efficiency, lower emissions, community well-being. Design/methodology/approach A model is proposed allocate grains from base field silos via road, rail, inland waterways considering Triple Bottom Line (TBL). The costs, factors (e.g. employment) were quantified combined generate a composite score, enabling rigorous trade-off evaluation. Findings Results representative case show integrating rail reduces total costs emissions while boosting employment welfare. Intermodal configurations improve PDS’s sustainability, demonstrating feasibility of aligning economic objectives with environmental outcomes. Research limitations/implications Future work could incorporate stochastic demand or disruptions, extend beyond single commodity region, enhancing model’s robustness generalizability. Practical implications Insights guide planners in selecting routes, modes, facility investments aligned reduction, control, uplift. Social approach promotes inclusive development by increasing opportunities ensuring more equitable benefits vulnerable communities. Originality/value research extends conventional cost-centric frameworks incorporating TBL metrics large-scale, government-run setting. provides practical blueprint, informing infrastructural policy interventions holistic, enduring improvements food security resource utilization.

The increasing global emphasis on sustainability necessitates the integration of environmentally responsible practices within supply chains. This study explores impact green chain management (GSCMPs) firm sustainable performance in Pakistan’s manufacturing and service industries. Unlike prior research, which primarily focuses direct GSCMPs, this advances knowledge by incorporating technological innovation (GTI) managerial (GMI) as mediators organizational culture (GOC) a moderator. looks at survey data from 480 industry professionals uses partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) multi-group analysis (MGA). It discovers that GSCMPs greatly enhance outcomes, especially when innovations are used. Furthermore, is more pronounced sector, emphasizing role regulatory pressures advancements. makes significant contribution to literature integrating post-pandemic challenges, highlighting industry-specific dynamics, providing actionable strategies adoption emerging markets. provides applicable for managers policymakers embed deeper into corporate strategies, ensuring resilience competitive advantages evolving

ABSTRACT This research examines the extent to which growth and environmental dimensions of sustainable development are influenced by diversity financial development, encompassing index, institution market index. The analysis covers a selection 30 African countries from 1996 2021. study contributes development‐sustainable literature evaluating moderating influences digitalization regulatory quality alongside various control variables, including technological innovation, government spending, trade openness, renewable nonrenewable energy sources, foreign direct investment. Empirical evidence is derived using estimators such as system generalized method moments common correlated effects mean group approach for short‐ long‐term nexuses, respectively. results suggest that although promotes economic growth, it incurs costs. Nevertheless, when beneficial impacts taken into account, negative consequences linked growth‐focused mitigated. Elements energy, investment not only stimulate but also contribute reducing harm. In contrast, factors boost while compromising ecological integrity include energy. To address these conflicting priorities, report provides policy suggestions.
