Climate change has emerged as a major concern worldwide. Amidst this, adhering to green growth requires more comprehensive approach address the same. Based on sample from G7 countries over period of 2000-2018, present study seeks impact environmental governance (ENVG), Renewable energy consumption (REC), innovation (GI), human capital development (HC), and economic (GDP) (GG) by employing linear auto-regressive distributed lag (ARDL) non-linear (NARDL) model. The model results show significant positive all variables GG in long run. However, short run, REC negatively affects while insignificant for ENVG, GI, GDP. Similarly, findings NARDL suggest that, except GDP, shock favorable vice versa. Accordingly, favors GG.
