Challenges and opportunities in higher education diplomacy of World Class Universities in Indonesia: analysing the network environment of public diplomacy

This paper aims to investigate Indonesia's aspiring World Class University, challenges and opportunities when conducting public diplomacy. By analysing the network environment of diplomacy, this study seeks shed light on dynamics intricacies diplomatic engagement between Indonesian WCUs national/international stakeholders. A qualitative methodology was employed, utilizing in-depth semi-structured interviews with 12 informants who hold leadership positions at their respective universities. The data collected from these were rigorously analysed using source triangulation techniques. Complementing approach, also undertakes a detailed examination demographic characteristics responses survey administered 120 international students across Universitas Indonesia (UI), Gadjah Mada (UGM), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) July October 2022. unveiled that knowledge transfer activities exert substantial influence all University (WCU) Times Higher Education (THE) indicators, including Industry Income, Teaching, Research, Citations, International Outlook. It revealed significant gender disparity among students, males predominating. Furthermore, highlighted UGM as most frequent choice indicating institutional preferences potential areas for strategic internationalisation efforts. findings suggest universities should enhance academic exchange partnerships, improve global rankings appeal students. Institutions need address disparities in student populations by implementing targeted recruitment strategies. Lastly, less chosen could analyse UGM's practices adopt effective strategies attracting more diverse body.

Sample Size Calculations in Nursing Student Mobile Application Research: A Systematic Review

Background:Research must certainly have subjects or samples that will be used in the research, including research on mobile phone applications. Research using applications has begun to widely carried out, so this phenomenon needs analysed as what is ideal among researchers determining number of research. Objective:This systematic review aims analyse sample size and calculation technique by previous involving nursing students samples. Methods:This took electronic database sources through journal search engines, such Google Scholar, Pro-Quest, PUBMED, Science Direct. The criteria for journals taken were open-access published within last five years (2018–2023). keywords “mobile application” “nursing students." Results: Atotal six had eligibility out 18 assessed, showing largest was 256, while minimum 25. Conclusion:Whether large small, implementing does not follow existing trends but calculated according a representative portion subject population studied.
