Abstract
We
investigate
the
role
of
both
internal
and
external
co‐inventor
networks
in
regional
diversification.
The
impact
on
technological
diversification
is
tested
for
a
data
set
containing
1,495,699
patents

technologies

European
regions

NUTS‐2
level,

1987
2016.
Our
results
show
that
network
connectivity

could

innovation
perspective
as
a
lens
explore
patterns
across
projects
in
source
software
(OSS)
environment
–
