Failure of a safety-critical system during mission execution can result in significant financial losses. Implementing abort policies is an effective strategy to mitigate the failure risk. This research delves into systems that are subject cumulative shock degradation, considering uncertainties damage. To account for varied degradation parameters, we employ dynamic Bayesian learning method using real-time sensor data accurate estimation. Our primary focus on modeling policy with integrated parameter approach within framework finite-horizon Markov decision process. The key objective minimize expected costs related routine inspections, failures, and disruptions. Through examination structural aspects value function, establish presence monotonicity optimal thresholds, thereby shaping controlled limit strategy. Additionally, delve relationship between thresholds cost parameters discern their behavior patterns. series numerical experiments, showcase superior performance mitigating losses compared traditional heuristic methods.
