Irrigation is a crucial component of the agriculture industry. The gross domestic output India about 15 % derived from its farmers. The replacement of greenhouse surfaces with photovoltaic cells currently presents issues internal shading and uneven illumination, which adversely affect crop growth yield. Therefore, in order to improve lighting by altering the arrangement for greater economic environmental benefits, four cities (Harbin, Shenyang, Nanjing, Guangzhou) were selected this study. Greenhouse models established using DesignBuilder software tool, focusing on summer winter stages cherry tomatoes strawberries. Two arrangements employed—compact (CR) checkerboard (BR)—to evaluate 18 scenarios based power generation, illuminance uniformity, temperature. Analysis revealed that, among cities, improved average illumination uniformity 37.34%, 37.9%, 38.2%, 35.8%, respectively, compared compact arrangement. Except nine rows Guangzhou, unit area generation schemes exceeded 80 kWh/m2 summer, excellent efficiency. In winter, there was a relative decrease. Among only Harbin reached seven produced more than under cells, while other three achieved five rows. Strawberries are not suitable growing Shenyang winter. addition this, strawberries different regions at have best maximizing cost
