COPE-28 calls for China to control fossil fuel expansion and limit coal subsidies achieve energy systems transition make oil supply chains sustainable. has not detailed its program about this, which warrants more work in theory practice. Therefore, this research inquires determine with green finance ensure commitments conventional systems. The authors develop two scenarios using Chinese provincial categorization based on high consumption low consumption. High provinces are named Scenario 1 others as 2. applied the quantile clustering technique scenario analysis. study results show that limits by 0.22% fossil-consuming 0.17% developing sustainable chains.

Keyaki bark is an abundant untapped resource of biomass in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, for steam gasification and tar reforming. To optimize performance, raw underwent demineralization with HCl to remove native metals calcium impregnation using Ca (OH)2. Gasification experiments were conducted at 900 °C CO2 as gasifying agents. The was reformed a two-stage metal reactor, resulting improved syngas yields. Results showed that enhanced efficiency, producing higher hydrogen (H2) carbon monoxide (CO) yields compared untreated samples. Experiments have shown char produced 142% more bark, H2 yield increasing by 86% CO 250%. Additionally, the tube reactor generated 200% than 24% gasification. Therefore, we confirmed feasibility reforming enhance production processes. bark’s high low ash content make it promising feedstock sustainable energy production.

As a low-carbon and efficient energy source, nuclear power plays an indispensable role in China’s pursuit of carbon neutrality. However, existing studies on development often overlook the constraints posed by uranium resources, limiting comprehensive assessment pathways to This study incorporates resource into China Global Energy Model (C-GEM) analyze detail impact scarcity development, electricity costs, emissions. Under scenario severe constraints, results indicate that generation 2060 is projected be 35–50% lower than high-resource scenario, with costs increasing over 12% prices rising approximately 2%. Without robust management supply, may constrained, hindering ability achieve its neutrality targets. Therefore, this suggests policies should focus strengthening security through enhanced domestic international exploration, investing advanced fuel recycling high-efficiency reactor technologies, integrating these measures broader framework ensure sustainable power.

Purpose This study aims to investigate the relatedness between renewable energy technology (RET) and carbon intensity among 36 Organization for Economic Co-operation Development (OECD) nations. Design/methodology/approach method allows them examine relationship RET across different quantiles of latter. Findings The findings reveal a negative association emission in OECD countries, indicating that these nations can reduce emissions by harnessing technologies. analysis shows substantial consistent effect on intensity. Furthermore, incorporation additional economic indicators, such as gross domestic product trade openness, enhances results emphasizes their importance modeling research underscores vital role accurately advocates development targeted policies maximize benefits Originality/value Prior studies often use pooled ordinary least squares methodology, which lead skewed due heterogeneous nature panel datasets. To address this issue, they quantile regression model assess impact within countries.
