This study conducts a comparative analysis of Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for Flexible Power Point Tracking (FPPT) in photovoltaic (PV) systems. The GA-based FPPT algorithm exhibits superior performance power output, tracking accuracy, convergence speed compared to conventional methods. In contrast, the PSO-based is designed mitigate oscillations around steady-state operating points under partial shading conditions (PSC) by incorporating limitation control. allows FPPT-PSO effectively track global maximum point (GMPP) without fluctuating points. findings this highlight significance adaptive algorithms enhancing system reliability maximizing extraction dynamic environmental conditions. approach excels optimizing generation metrics, while specializes maintaining stability precision challenging operational scenarios such as shading.
